Description
Shelly Pro Dimmer 0/1-10V PM
The Shelly Pro Dimmer 0/1-10V PM is a WiFi-controlled 0/1-10V control unit. The device is intended for controlling lighting, motors, valves, and similar devices. The Shelly Pro Dimmer 0/1-10V PM operates in sourcing mode, which means it generates its own 1-10V signal. The device also has a built-in relay for switching off and power measurement.
The Shelly Pro Dimmer 0/1-10V PM is easily set up and controlled through the Shelly Smart Control app or your preferred Smart Home or Smart Building system. Shelly devices operate 100% locally and only require a local network to function. Shelly can be used alone in the Shelly Smart Control app or with more than 200 partner systems such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Athom Homey, KNX, and many more.
Function
The Shelly Pro Dimmer 0/1-10V PM is primarily used for controlling 1-10V operating devices for lighting, but is also suitable for regulating the speed of fans, motors, and similar devices. The device has two inputs for standard single-pole switches with and without spring return and can thus be controlled via one- and two-button switches. The device supports night mode, so that the light can automatically be turned on at a lower light level at night. It is also possible to set the minimum and maximum brightness, dimming speed, auto on/off timers, and much more.
Connection
The Shelly Pro Dimmer 0/1-10V PM can be connected to the internet or the local network via a LAN interface and/or 2.4 GHz WiFi. In addition, the device has built-in Bluetooth just like the rest of the Pro, Plus, and Gen3 devices, which means it can also be used as a gateway to Shelly Bluetooth devices. The device works locally without connection to the Shelly Cloud, but it is recommended to activate this for easy data storage and increased functionality. The device can also communicate via MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket. All support TLS.
Hardware
The device is equipped with generation 2 hardware, which includes a powerful ESP32 processor. This enables the use of script functions for advanced and user-adapted functionality as well as range extender function with the device.
